Company
History
Established
for 14 years, DM&P Group created by a group of embedded
System Designers, Manufacturers, and Integrators with extensive
knowledge and experience in embedded computer architectures
and peripherals.
Prior
to the formation of DM&P Group, "Jan Yin Chan Electronics
Corp." (Jan-Yin-Chan) was started in 1987 as an Industrial-Controller
designer and manufacturer. Influenced by the explosive growth
of the Computer industry, Jan-Yin-Chan expanded its businesses
and technologies focuses to cover hardware, software &
firmware. The expanded technology focuses lead Jan-Yin-Chan
into the business of Processor-design, System-On-Chip design,
Embedded-SBC/System design and manufacturing, and Multi-media
products development.
In 1997,
due to Jan-Yin-Chan's explosive business expansion, our board
of director reorganized Jan-Yin-Chan into DM&P Group.
Along with the reorganization, the board also established
a new business structure. Under the reorganized business structure,
Jan-Yin-Chan narrows its business focus to R&D and Manufacturing.
ICOP Technology (ICOP) was form to handle embedded SBC, processor
module, and embedded system businesses development. Media
Stream Technology Inc. (MSTI) was formed to handle multimedia
businesses development. Each of these business units would
operate independently.
The reorganized
business structure also included conduit that allows individual
business unit to leverage each other's technical resources
and expertise. This structure provided strong competitive
advantage to DM&P Group.

ICOP Taipei function as DM&P's global sales and marketing
center for embedded product. ICOP Taipei is responsible to
support all of its regional sales offices Worldwide. ICOP
Taipei is also responsible for new product concept and new
product development strategy for DM&P Group's embedded
products.

Technology Inc. (Los Angeles, US)
ICOP Los Angeles function as DM&P's North America regional
sales and service center. ICOP Los Angeles serves customers
from United States, Canada and South America. In addition
to its general sales & service function, ICOP Los Angeles
also provides OS support for DM&P Group's embedded SBC
by providing Board-Support-Package for DOS, Linux, Windows
CE, Windows NT Embedded and Windows XP Embedded.

ICOP Shenzhen function as ICOP's China sales office. ICOP
Shenzhen is responsible to provide sales and services for
customers in China and Hong Kong, and set business development
plan and strategy for the China market.

ICOP Tokyo function as ICOP's Japan sales and service office.
This office is also responsible for new product concept and
OEM/ODM for DM&P Group's embedded products in Japan.

Stream Technologies Inc. (Taipei, Taiwan)
Media Stream Taipei function as DM&P Group's sales and
marketing center for multimedia products. In addition to its
general sales and support function, Media Stream Taipei is
also responsible for new product concept and new product development
strategy for DM&P Group's multimedia products.

Media Stream Shenzhen function as DM&P Group's sales and
service center for multimedia products in China.
Jan
Yin Chan Electronics Corp. (Taipei, Taiwan)
Jan Yin Chan Taipei function as DM&P Group's R&D and
manufacturing center. With technical expertise that cover
hardware, software and firmware, Jan Yin Chan Taipei help
DM&P Group's client resolve technical challenges. In addition
to managing its manufacturing operation in Taiwan, Jan Yin
Chan Taipei also manage manufacturing operation in China to
ensure product quality and consistency.

Solution Provider for Embedded CPU, SBC, and Systems
DM&P
is dedicated to provide x86 embedded solution. Utilizing our
engineering expertise in CPU Kernel technology. DM&P provides
embedded Single-Board-Computer, embedded CPU module and embedded
systems.
In 1997,
DM&P announced the release of M6117D System-On-Chip. M6117D
System-On-Chip was designed by DM&P using 386-processor
core licensed from ALI. M6117D was designed to operate at
optimum performance with low power consumption and low heat
dissipation.
To motivate
business for M6117D, and help lower the risk of new product/solution
development for our clients, DM&P developed Quick-boot
BIOS (to provide quick system startup), X-DOS (a DOS like
Operating System), Dsock (TCP/IP Socket library for DOS) and
other software utilities to work with M6117D. These software
and utilities are generally available to DM&P's client
who uses DM&P's hard wares without royalty.

System Support
DM&P
Group is dedicated to provide support to most standard Operating
System such as DOS, Linux, Netware, FreeBSD, Linux, Unix,
Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/NT/2000, Windows CE, Windows NT
Embedded, Windows XP Embedded and various RTOS. DM&P Group
invests engineering resources to provide Board-Support-Package
(BSP) for many of these Operating Systems accessible from
our Web & FTP site.
